Montgomery Community TelevisionOffice Hours and DirectionsMontgomery Community Television (MCT) is an independent, nonprofit organization that provides the residents of Montgomery County, Maryland with professional quality television training, production, and programming. MCT operates two channels on the Montgomery County cable system: Access Montgomery Cable 19 and Cable 21. Access Montgomery specializes in programming produced by county residents who have taken our television production classes or have equivalent experience. At Access Montgomery, free speech is not just a catch phrase - as a public access channel, we provide a true democratic forum for those who want to entertain, educate or inform the broad population or a special interest group. Access Montgomery reflects the unique and diverse interests of our community volunteers. The Montgomery Channel presents professionally produced programs, including public affairs, information and entertainment, with an emphasis on the special needs and interests of local viewers. MCT's headquarters in Rockville, Maryland houses two fully equipped studios and control rooms, six edit suites, playback facilities, classrooms and offices. All of this is at the disposal of any Montgomery County resident or organization! There are many ways to take advantage of Access Montgomery's services.
