Access Montgomery Airs Maryland General Assembly Proceedings

Rockville, MD.  Access Montgomery announces that they are cable casting the previous day’s Maryland General Assembly Proceedings (GAP) produced by Maryland Public Television (MPT) Wednesday thru Friday from 7-9 AM and again 11 AM – 1 PM on AMTV 19. Maryland General Assembly 2010: General Assembly Proceedings (GAP) alternates each week between House of Delegates and Senate proceedings and hearings.

“This is an additional opportunity to receive information that is helpful to being an informed citizen of Montgomery County,” said Stuart Garfinkle, AMTV Programming Manager.

Access Montgomery Television (AMTV), Montgomery County’s only non-profit organization, is dedicated to encouraging and sponsoring television programming and broadband media that meets community needs and offers forums for free expression.  This year AMTV is celebrating 25 years of successfully educating, informing and entertaining county viewers.  AMTV has also trained thousands of county residents in our television production classes.

AMTV reaches over 250,000 households on Montgomery County through cable TV on AMTV 19 and 21.  We also make available 24-hour live video streaming and video archiving on www.accessmontgomery.tv.
